My nana and grampa on there wedding day. My nana is so beautiful, I do not know much about this dress, as I didnt find these pictures until after she passed, but I think they look so lovely, radiant and happy, I love this.
Here is my nana with 5 of her 6 children.
This is a photo with My grandpa, Nana, and from left to right in the front row: My brother brandon, my cousin celia, my cousin meghan, and myself. This is at her house in the cape (cape cod, massachusetts).
My Cousin Christine and my Nana sporting a hat in which she has added a floral ribbon.
My Nana and my cousin Josh at her florida home. She is wear one of her reversible handcrafted vests, as well as a hat she has added roses too... she loved roses. (her name was rose)
My nana on ash wednesday, wearing a handmade reversible vest & pantsuit, one of her jazzed up hats, and a t-shirt she jazzed up with butterflies.
My nana sportin one of her reversible vests, a most likely thrifted funky necklace, clip on earrings (which most likely didnt match, and a classic thrifted hat.. enjoying a dark glass on wine. my grampa always drank dark wine with his dinner, i guess she took over for him. ;)
This is so classic nana. Every time I ever went to her florida home, she always would lay out all her latest projects in this room on all her furniture and then tell me about them. They were always reversible and she would tell me where she found the fabric, what a great deal she got and why she liked the fabric.
My nana and grampa which were together until death do them part. This looks like one of their church gatherings in which you would all have lunch after mass, sometimes they had cool sales in which everyone brought in there crafts & odds n ends to sell. They are being adorable with their matching patriotic outfits. This is one of her reversible vests, jazzed up hats and it looks like she added some patriotic fabric to her shirt as well.
This is the last picture I have with my nana, I knew she wasn't going to live much longer, but when I saw her I thought she seemed normal... as she had seemed for the last few years of her life. She was still having conversations, joking, and talking about desert with her roommate... It was shocking to hear of her passing a few weeks later, as so many times I had her she was going to pass and she never did... and I thought this was going to be just like that...as she seems so normal here. I am glad I was able to see her and that I have this picture to remember the last time I saw and told her I love her forever.
